Transparency International: Grieve must not terminate UK-Saudi bribery investigation

On October 10th 2011, Transparency International UK called on the U.K. Government to support a full investigation by the Serious Fraud Office (SFO), following serious bribery allegations involving GPT Special Project management, the UK subsidiary of European defence company and Global Compact participant EADS, and the Saudi Royal family,

The Attorney General was reportedly deliberating over whether the SFO should continue to investigate allegations that GPT Special Project management made illicit payments to the Saudi Royal family in order to secure a contract worth GBP 2 billion.
