On Friday 28th 2011, the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights has opened a trial to determine if Barrick Gold’s Pascua Lama project in Chile violates the fundamental human rights of the indigenous Diaguita community.
Barrick Gold is a Global Compact participant since 2005/06/02.

This blog provides information on how U.N. Global Compact participants' walk the talk. The GC is a voluntary initiative at the strategic level to engage businesses towards sustainability principles.
