ArcelorMittal Warren, Inc and Clean Water Act

On March 13th 2012, the U.S. EPA proposed to assess a civil penalty in the amount of $79,350.00 against ArcelorMittal Warren, Inc. for violations of the Clean Water Act. EPA was seeking civil penalties for ArcelorMittal Warren's failure to comply with effluent limits, monitoring requirements, and recordkeeping requirements written in its National Discharge Elimination System permit.

ArcelorMittal is a Global Compact participant since 2003/09/03. ArcelorMittal was a Gold Contributor for the Foundation of the Global Compact in 2012.
