There is however a risk of 'blue-washing' by covering up corporate misbehaviour and law infringement from large MNEs through poorly enforced 'Integrity Measures' and weak U.N supervision. Pfizer Settles Foreign Corrupt Practices Act Violation For China Business
U.S.-based Pfizer Inc. says it has resolved U.S. Department of Justice and Securities and Exchange Commission matters related to certain improper payments in the operations of two of its subsidiaries outside the United States, which Pfizer voluntarily reported to the U.S. government beginning in 2004.

Pfizer Inc. (PFE:New York) is a Global Compact participant since 2002/10/04. It was a Gold Contributor to the Foundation for the Global Compact in 2010.
